Woke Up Dis Mo'nan ....

... and realised the Sopranos is Finito. (Spoiler alert skip this para if you intend to watch the show.) Last week's episode was so earth shatteringly good that the past week felt like the longest week of my life waiting for the Finale. When it finally happened, I was left bewildered. David Chase left all us fans with a big fat WHAT-IF!! If dad was around we would have spent days, correction, years speculating the ending and dissecting the look of Tony & Meadow's face in the last frame. The Sopranos was the best thing that happened to television. Dad often said there was more to Sopranos than life, a bit much, but I agree. My Sunday nights will never be the same, never. It's funny?strange?meant-to-be? that it ended the week daddyo passed away. R.I.P.

Onto Tara news. Seems like the head stuff is all clear but that doesn't stop us from visiting the doctors. She's been having a terribly high fever the last few days and no clue as to why. No cough, no cold, no ear tugging, no drool so that's got the Doc confused. It might be a urinary tract infection, it might not. Tara's extremely clingy to me and the two little clowns of the Play-Mobil my aunt Roma gave her.

Before she got sick, we've been having fun weekends. The sun's been out so we went to Deception Pass along with her favorite daycare friends. She had a total blast and was the only kid who kept rushing into the water screaming wha-tah, wha-tah. The swimming classes are definitely helping remove any water fear, scary in a way. She scrapped her knee a couple times and the new game is her constantly pointing to her knee and muttering hurt-hurt. She repeats words for extra effect all the time.

We also had my ex-boss and his family over for dinner. Tara refused to share any of her toys with Mariko who so gently was bringing everything to her. We were shocked at Tara's new found possessiveness. Finally her play date Arun aka Aravinn (Tara calls Arun, Arvind (Tanvi's dad) much to Arun's disappointment/annoyance) showed up and then Mariko had full reign of the toys. The one thing they enjoyed together was stomping on the bubbles and watching LaTonja fail miserably at building blocks.
