Snow day

Woke up this morning, cursed that it was Monday and glanced out the window to see this....

and then this......!!!

It was going to be one long monday!

Work is where I go to relax, kick my legs over my computer (placed on the floor) and let out a sign of relief that I am not chasing a toddler around or rocking an infant or ohmygod trying to do both!! Instead today we all stayed home and failed tried to keep the kids occupied. Luckily we had bought a sled a few weekends ago when we took Tara to Snoqualmie pass so it provided much entertainment. Tara loves the snow, she made S take her out first thing this morning and wanted to stay out all day. (Please note S is warmly clad albeit in his PJ's). We got Tara a whole load of ski gear at 70% off recently so she kept wanting to putitonmommie go awside. Nisha observed all the fun from the coziness of our house.



To round up today:

We had over 4 inches of snow
We went round the block 2 times chasing kitty-kat
We watched Spongebob 5 times
We attemped to make a snowman 8 times
We ran up and down the front yard yelling Weeeeee 20 times
We balanced snow on our head once(guess whose idea THAT was)
We clicked on every single alphabet 30 times
We had ZERO naps, yes Tara did not take her much anticipated nap cause there was Sno awside, sno mommie, come let's play.

Snow is in the forecast till Thursday, mercy mercy me.
